CMT pricing runs lower than the other three models because you supply the fabric and carry that material risk yourself.
Full-package (FPP) here means OEM, ODM or private label: we source fabric. CMT means you ship fabric in; we cut, make and trim.
Low MOQ clothing manufacturing — 300 pieces per style
Our minimum is 300 pieces per style. Sizes and colours split inside that 300. That is low for a GOTS-certified export factory. It is not a 50-piece local atelier run.
If a search for “low MOQ clothing manufacturers” shows 20–50 pieces, those are usually small CMT shops or print-on-demand. We do not run those quantities. Below 300 per style we do not open a new style.

Clothing manufacturers for startups — what the first order needs
A clothing manufacturer for startups still needs a factory minimum, a sample, and a deposit. We take first bulk orders from new labels if the order is 300 pieces per style.
You do not need a finished tech pack to get a quote. A reference sample, flats, or a written brief is enough to start. Samples: 14 days from a confirmed brief. Payment: 30% to start, 70% before shipment, T/T or L/C. NDA before any design files if you want it.

Standard timeline is 20 days for up to 5000 pieces. Large orders of 20000 pieces take 40 to 60 days. We do all production in our facility.
On the floor: fabric is inspected and relaxed, then spread and cut from a marker. Sewing lines run by SAM/SMV. In-line QC, then final audit at AQL 2.5. Packing: branded labels, hang tags, polybag, carton. Export packing list and commercial invoice go with the FOB handover.
Development moves through a tech pack and BOM, a proto sample, fit sample and size-set, then a PP (pre-production) sample and TOP (top of production) check, with lab dips or strike-offs confirming colour before bulk cutting.

CM vs Typical China Knit Quotes
For comparable basic knits, Bangladesh CM (cut-and-make cost) is often lower than China. That is an industry pattern, not a quote for your style — freight, duty in your market, and spec decide the final landed number. Get a firm number for your own style with a formal quote.
Duty-Free Access for UK & Australian Buyers
Bangladesh garments enter the UK under the Developing Countries Trading Scheme (DCTS) at zero or near-zero import duty, and many lines also qualify for reduced or zero duty into Australia under its Least Developed Country (LDC) preference scheme. Duty-Free Into Japan — GSP Now, EPA Next
Bangladesh-made garments currently enter Japan duty-free under Japan's Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) for least developed countries, against a standard MFN apparel duty of roughly 9–11%. A signed Japan-Bangladesh Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA, February 2026) — not yet in force — is set to make that duty-free access permanent and binding, independent of Bangladesh's November 2026 LDC graduation. SDF Clothing's minimum order quantity is 300 pieces per style, with flexible size and colour combinations. Most factories require 500 to 1,000 pieces per style; our lower minimum lets startup and boutique brands test a design before committing to full-scale inventory.
Our FOB pricing from Chittagong or Dhaka covers fabric, dyeing, finishing, cut and sew, AQL 2.5 inspection, and port delivery, with no hidden charges. Standard terms are a 30% deposit to start production and the remaining 70% before shipment, paid by T/T or L/C.
Samples are ready in 14 days from a confirmed brief, with up to 10 revisions at no extra charge. Bulk orders typically ship in around 40 days; orders up to 5,000 pieces can finish in about 20 days, and 20,000-plus piece orders take 40 to 60 days.
We inspect every order to the AQL 2.5 standard, with in-line checks during production and a final inspection before packing. Third-party inspection through SGS, Bureau Veritas, or Intertek is available on request, and our rejection rate runs under 0.8%.
